Jessica Alba’s most recent horror has finally been brought to us in a nice DVDRip, about 2 months after the R5 which had line audio so this is a nice improvement. This movie looked rather good judging by the trailer, but instead turned out to be a disappointment .

Quality: For a 97 minute film this has pretty good quality but its nothing compared to a rip with AC3 5.1 audio. Typical video quality with a bitrate of 847kbit/s, and the usual MP3 audio is available as well. English and Chinese subs are included

A not really well-known scene group MoH released a dvd screener of limited drama The Poet. A touching story from WW2 filmed by Canadian producers surprised with a quite high budget for a limited movie and the first reviews are also quite positive. If you have nothing to see in these slow days, you can give it a try. Released on 1 CD with mp3 audio.

“The Poet”, set in German occupied Poland, is a World War II love story. It revolves around Oskar Koenig (Scarfe), a disenchanted young German officer and a poet by nature, and Rachel (Dobrev), the daughter of a rabbi. Rachel is betrothed to Bernard (Bennett), an Orthodox Jewish man who thinks the world of her. Although not excited by the prospect of marriage, she realizes he would make a wonderful husband. As Rachel ventures home one day, she is caught in a terrible storm and is rescued by Oskar.

One of the best documentaries of last few months was released by group TheWretched. Autism: The Musical is a festival movie coproduced by HBO which means it didn’t have global screenings and it’s still pretty unknown, but critics and awards won at these festivals can’t be wrong: if you’re interested in this topic, it will be a really interesting watch for you.

Director Tricia’s Regan’s riveting documentary follows five different families, participating in The Miracle Project (a theatre program created specifically for children with special needs) as their kids write and perform their own musical production. The film is as much about the parents of autistic kids as it is about the kids themselves. How does one communicate with a child who won’t speak? What do you do when your kid only sleeps two hours per night? How do you cope with a world that has little use or compassion for kids that are so different? These are only a few of the questions that the parents must deal with, questions illustrated by a series of almost painfully honest and blunt encounters.

Just let me start of by saying, PUKKA already released this! Well here I was all happy posting about this movie when all of a sudden I see that this has already been nuked for cbr audio and bad ar We should see a repack soon so the ar/cbr problems are fixed, but I still wouldn’t recommend getting the TS as cams are never good. The retail date for this is July 8th meaning that we can expect a DVDRip in about a month, and hopefully an R5 sometime soon.

Quality: There seems to be an issue with the video as it seems kind of laggy in hihg motion seens, that because of the weird framerate of 14.985 FPS. The audio is pretty good for line though so we can enjoy the R5 if no studio audio is present .

Finally, the guys behind the outrageously silly Scary Movie franchise have used their own ‘special powers’ to spoof superhero movies. After being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly, high school loser Rick Riker develop superhuman abilities like incredible strength and armored skin. Rick decides to use his new powers for good and becomes a costumed crime fighter known as “The Dragonfly”. However, standing in the way of his destiny is the villainous Lou Landers. After an experiment gone wrong, Lou develops the power to steal a person’s life force and in a dastardly quest for immortality becomes the supervillain, “The Hourglass.” With unimaginable strength, unbelievable speed and deeply uncomfortable tights, will the Dragonfly be able to stop the sands of The Hourglass and save the world? nDn release a CAM of what seems to be an interesting film starring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine from X-Men) and Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Big Fish, Trainspotting etc.). The synopsis of the film sounds kinda sexy so check that out below and enjoy this release. Look forward to a new episode of Lost later on tonight and a competition that I’ve prepared.

Quality: This release will act more as a heads up for this film, since the quality is extremely low and the cammer used auto-focus when he/she cammed it. To me this makes it unwatchable, but if you’re desperate to see this film, you probably won’t care.

This is a film which I’ve heard a lot of positive things about and finally it is here in retail DVDRip. Popular group NeDiVx were the first to get their hands on it and release it. Make sure you do not mistake so called “DVDRips” of this movie from p2p as actual R1 retail rips. These were all R5 rips which is tagged as dvdrips on p2p. A very high quality R5 was already released of this film from TRG, but NeDiVx decided to do a 2CD rip which is great news. I try to watch most of the films that Jason Statham does and this one has a really good rating, so I’d say its definitely worth the download. Enjoy.

Quality: The quality on this release is excellent. You could compare the image quality to the recent DVDRip of Honeydrippers, although the resolution is not as high. 5.1 channel AC3 audio is included as well as English subtitles.

Aztec Rex also known as Tyrannosaurus Azteca is one of these movies which are so bad that you have to actually laugh. A classic low-budget production for Sci-Fi channel involves dinosaurs fighting with Aztecs and whole bunch of action. Please consider this is an obvious “B” movie before downloading. Ripped by aAF from DVB (satellite) source, so expect a slightly lower image quality.

Well, there are quite a few low points in the scene where nothing major is released, but then something is released by DiAMOND, which is usually pretty exciting. This is a movie which I have anticipated for a very long time. It stars Will Ferrell which says enough for me. Anchorman was one of the all-time funniest films in my opinion, and I have high hopes for this release (I just pray they’re not too high). Comedy mixed with basketball. Dosen’t sound too bad. In any case, this film should definitely be worth checking out. Enjoy it.

Quality: The quality looks good. Image quality is not as crisp as most DiAMOND 1CD releases have been in the past, such as “One Missed Call” and “Cloverfield“. In any case this is a scene DVDRip so you know you’re getting quality, I just don’t see that extra DMD touch this time around. English and Spanish subs are included.

Ah here’s Johnny Depp’s latest world renowned film, Sweeney Todd, in some kick ass 720p quality! Not sure on whether there is a BluRay release scheduled by Dreamworks in the US, but in the UK this will be released on May 19th so we get this 5 days ahead .

Quality:Could have used some DTS 1.5mbps audio, but AC3 ain’t that bad . Anyway the video is great as expected coming in with a bitrate of 4737kbps. English subs are also included so enjoy =].
